Join us for our annual Spring Budget Open House and Public Consultation. This is your chance to look at the draft budget for the coming year, see where we plan to spend your property taxes, and share your ideas with City staff and council members.
We will break the event into short, easy-to-follow presentations followed by open tables. At each table, you can talk to staff from departments like Roads, Water, Parks, and Public Safety. Bring your questions about local services, community projects, or how we manage our finances. You can also fill out a feedback form to leave comments if you prefer not to speak out loud.
Light refreshments will be provided. Child care is not available at this event, but we have a quiet zone set up for families with young children. The shelter is fully accessible, with ramp access and washrooms on the main floor. If you need sign language interpretation, live captioning, or materials in an alternative format, please email [email protected] by April 5.
This consultation is part of our planning process under the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Planning Act. All feedback will be recorded in a public report for Council before the final budget is adopted in the fall.
