Join us for a Spring Birdwatching Guided Walk on Saturday, April 10, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fallsview Riverside Shelter. This free, guided nature walk is designed for adults and nature enthusiasts who want to learn more about the birds that return to Wrenford each spring.
Our parks naturalist will lead a gentle, two-hour stroll along the flat, paved section of the Tamsin River Trail. You will learn how to identify common spring migratory species, understand what habitats they need to thrive, and pick up practical birding tips. No prior experience is required—just a curiosity about our local wildlife.
What to bring
Binoculars (if you have them), comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate layers. Bring a reusable water bottle and a small snack. We will pause at a scenic overlook for a short rest.
Accessibility
The walk follows a fully accessible, paved trail with gentle grades. Wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers are welcome. Accessible washrooms are located at the shelter before and after the walk.
Registration
Registration is required because group sizes are limited to keep the experience enjoyable and safe. Register online through the Event Calendar or call 311. Spaces fill quickly, so sign up early.
We look forward to sharing the sounds and sights of spring with you. For more information on trails and parks, visit our Parks & Trails page.
