We are pleased to invite you to the Seniors' Fall Health and Wellness Walk, a gentle outdoor activity designed to keep you moving and connected with your neighbours. This event takes place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hollis Park, located at 70 Hollis Park Drive.
The walk covers a flat, paved section of the trail along Hollis Creek. It is designed for all fitness levels and moves at a comfortable pace. You will enjoy crisp fall air, colourful foliage, and fresh water from the nearby drinking fountain.
Before the walk, our staff from Tamsin Valley Public Health will host a short talk on staying active and healthy during the autumn months. They will share tips on hydration, layering clothing for cooler weather, and simple stretching exercises you can do at home. After the walk, you are welcome to stay and chat on the benches or visit the nearby playground area.
Registration is required so we can plan for enough space and water. Please sign up through the City's online registration portal by Friday, September 12. If you need a ride to the park, contact Seniors for information on Wrenford Access transit.
Please bring a water bottle, wear sturdy walking shoes, and dress in layers. If the weather is severe, the event will be cancelled or moved indoors. Check the Service Alerts page for updates.
This is a free event.
