Older adults in a gentle fitness class in a bright community-centre program room

Keep your body moving and your mind sharp this winter with our free Chair Yoga sessions. Designed specifically for seniors, this gentle class focuses on improving flexibility, balance, and circulation without requiring you to get down on the floor. You will stay seated in a sturdy chair the entire time, making it a safe and comfortable way to stretch and breathe.

Our certified instructor will guide you through easy movements and breathing exercises tailored to the colder months. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you can adjust every pose to match your comfort level. All you need to bring is a water bottle and comfortable clothing. We will provide sturdy chairs, so just show up and enjoy the movement.

The session takes place at the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch on February 9, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The library is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible entrance on Water Street and washrooms on site. Free parking is available nearby. No registration is required, so you can simply walk in when the doors open.

Chair yoga is a great way to beat the winter blues and connect with other seniors in your neighbourhood. It helps reduce stiffness, lowers stress, and gives you a chance to socialize in a welcoming space. If you have any questions about the class or need accommodations, please call 519-555-0130 or visit the service counter at City Hall.
