We will help you stay connected with the people you care about. This free drop-in workshop at the library is for seniors and their caregivers who want to feel more confident using technology. You do not need to bring your own device, but you are welcome to bring a tablet or phone if you have one.
Our friendly staff will walk you through the basics of video calls, messaging apps, and social media. We will show you how to make a call, send a photo, or join a group chat. You will also learn how to adjust your screen size and sound so everything is easy to see and hear. If you have a specific app you want help with, bring it up during the session.
The library is fully accessible. There is an accessible entrance on Mercer Street, and the program room is on the main floor with plenty of space for wheelchairs and walkers. Free parking is available nearby.
No registration is required. Just show up during the event time. We will have extra chargers and printed step-by-step guides for you to take home. If you have any questions before the event, call the library at 519-555-0130 or visit Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch.
