Older adults in a gentle fitness class in a bright community-centre program room

Learn how to keep your personal information safe while using the internet. This free workshop is designed for older adults who want to feel more confident online. You will learn how to spot common scams, create strong passwords, and identify phishing emails before they reach your inbox.

Whether you use a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, our friendly staff will walk you through practical tips you can use right away. Bring your own device if you have one, or use a computer provided at the Wrenford Public Library — Northgate Branch. No prior tech experience is needed.

What to expect:

  • Hands-on demonstrations of safe browsing habits
  • How to adjust privacy settings on your devices
  • Quick Q&A with our digital literacy volunteers

Space is limited, so please register in advance. You can sign up at the service desk or call 519-555-0131. The library is fully accessible, with step-free entry and washrooms on the main floor. If you need accommodations, let us know when you register.
