Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to help you feel confident using email and stay safe online. Whether you are setting up your first email account or just want to learn how to spot suspicious messages, our friendly staff will walk you through the basics at your own pace.
We will cover how to create a secure password, recognize spam and phishing emails, and manage your inbox without stress. You will also learn simple steps to protect your personal information while browsing the web. Bring your own device if you have one, or use a library computer. We also have tablets available to borrow.
This session is free and open to all seniors. Registration is required so we can prepare enough devices and materials for everyone. You can sign up online through the City's event calendar or call the Northgate Branch at 519-555-0131. Please register by October 5.
The Northgate Branch is fully wheelchair accessible and features washrooms on site. If you need an accommodation to attend, please let us know when you register.
