Join your neighbours for the Winter Warmth Hour, a relaxed social gathering designed just for seniors. We will meet at the Stonebridge Park Shelter on Tuesday, February 9, 2027, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The City will provide hot tea, coffee, and light pastries to keep you comfortable while you chat. This is a drop-in event, so you do not need to register ahead of time. Just show up when you are ready.

The shelter sits in a quiet corner of the neighbourhood, offering covered seating, sturdy picnic tables, and a clean drinking fountain. You can bring your own folding chair or lawn chair to make your seat extra comfortable. Since it is February, please dress in layers and wear warm boots or shoes. The path to the shelter is cleared regularly, but walking can still be slippery, so take your time.

If you live nearby, you might enjoy a short stroll through the area before or after. Neighbours often meet here to swap winter tips, talk about local news, or just enjoy the fresh air. You are welcome to bring a friend or a family member who supports you. If you need a ride, look up the Transit schedules online or call 311 to ask about accessible options. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a warm morning together.
