Protecting your personal information online is more important than ever. This free workshop is designed for seniors who want to build confidence in their digital skills and learn how to avoid common internet scams.
You will learn how to create strong passwords, recognize phishing emails, and use secure Wi-Fi networks. Our City staff will walk you through safe browsing habits and show you where to find trusted resources if you think you have been targeted by a scam.
Please bring your own laptop, tablet, or smartphone. If you do not have a device, you can use the tablets provided at the workshop. No prior knowledge is required—just bring your curiosity!
Registration is required. Spaces are limited, so please sign up in advance at City Hall, online, or by calling 519-555-0100.
Location: Westbrook Community Arena, 40 Westbrook Drive. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and has washrooms on site.
