Join us on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, for the annual Remembrance Day Service at Centennial Gardens. We gather to honour the men and women who have served in Canada’s armed forces and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 12:00 p.m. We will hear words of reflection from community leaders, lay wreaths at the cenotaph, and observe a minute of silence at 11:00 a.m. Local veterans and military members will be present to share their stories.
The event is open to everyone. Families, students, and community members are welcome to attend. Bring a poppy to pin on your lapel, and consider bringing a folded flag or a personal memento to lay near the monument.
Centennial Gardens is located at 5 Victoria Street in downtown Wrenford. The main pathways are paved and fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Designated seating areas near the cenotaph will be available for those who need them. If you require a companion seat or specific accommodation, please contact us at 311 or call 519-555-0100 ahead of the event.
Refreshments will not be provided, but there are washrooms available at City Hall, just a short walk away. We encourage you to arrive early to find a good viewing spot.
