Join us for a Post-Election Community Dialogue designed with seniors in mind. Following Monday’s municipal election, we want to hear your voice and answer your questions about the new council term.
This is a drop-in event, so you do not need to register. Simply walk into the Benchlands Civic Meeting Rooms on October 27 at 7:00 p.m. and grab a seat. We will have refreshments available, and the room is fully accessible.
Local councillors and the city manager will be on hand to introduce themselves and listen to your ideas. Topics will include transit improvements, park maintenance, and how the new council plans to work with senior groups. Feel free to bring a friend or a neighbour.
The evening will wrap up at 9:00 p.m. If you have specific concerns you would like discussed, you can hand a note to a staff member or email us at [email protected]. All comments will be shared with the incoming council during their first regular meeting in January.
