Looking for a fun way to kick off the new year? This workshop is designed for kids ages 6 to 12 who want to set goals and make plans for 2027. You will learn how to turn big dreams into small, doable steps. Our library staff will guide you through creative planning sheets, goal-setting games, and simple tracking tools. Whether you want to learn a new skill, read more books, or try out a sport, you will leave with a personalised plan that feels doable.
What to bring: A pencil and your favourite notebook. All other materials, including stickers and coloured pens, will be provided at the table. If your child uses a hearing aid, glasses, or a mobility device, please bring them as usual. The library is fully accessible, and we welcome service animals.
How to register: Space is limited, so you must sign up in advance. You can sign up online through Programs or call the library directly. Registration closes one hour before the start time.
Where: The event takes place at Wrenford Public Library — Ambrel Lake Branch (1300 Ambrel Lake Road). Free parking is available in the centre lot.
We look forward to seeing you and your child as you get ready for a great year ahead!
