Start the new year by helping shape how your tax dollars are spent. On January 14, 2027, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the City is hosting a free open house to walk you through the draft 2027 budget. This session will focus on services and projects for the Northgate neighbourhood and surrounding areas.
City staff will present clear summaries of planned spending on transit, road repairs, park upgrades, and community programs. You will have the chance to ask questions, share your ideas, and tell us what matters most to you. No registration is required. You can just walk in and join the conversation.
The event will be held at Northgate River Landing, located at 1545 Northgate Boulevard. This public boat launch along the Tamsin River offers flat access, benches, and dock space. Please dress warmly for the January weather, as the gathering is outdoors. Accessible washrooms are available at the nearby Northgate Aquatic Centre, just a short walk away.
