Get ready for the holidays with a hands-on craft workshop at the Larch Heights Shelter. This session is designed for seniors and adults who want to create festive ornaments to decorate their homes or give as gifts. All materials and tools will be provided, so you can just show up and enjoy the process.
The workshop runs from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on December 5, 2026. The cost is $5.00 per person, which covers all supplies. Please register in advance through the Wrenford 311 service line or online at the Programs page. Space is limited to ensure everyone has enough room to work comfortably.
The shelter is fully accessible, with heated indoor space and washrooms on site. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot. If you need help getting there, Wrenford Access specialized transit can be booked through the Downtown Transit Terminal.
Whether you are an experienced crafter or trying something new, you will leave with handmade decorations and a chance to meet neighbours. We hope to see you there as we kick off the holiday season with creativity and community spirit.
