Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, for a community mural painting day at Old Mill Park. We are looking for volunteers and local artists to help us bring a new wall to life in the Old Mill neighbourhood. You do not need to be a professional painter. If you enjoy working with your hands and want to meet your neighbours, this is a great way to spend the morning.

The City will supply all the paint, brushes, and drop cloths. Just bring your own gloves, a reusable water bottle, and weather-appropriate clothing. We will have shade tents set up, but September sun can still be bright. We will start with a quick safety briefing and a tour of the design at 9:00 a.m., then get painting until 4:00 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided for everyone who signs up.

Registration is required because we only have room for 40 painters. You can sign up through our Recreation Programs page. The park is fully accessible, with paved paths and washrooms nearby. If you need a ride to the site or have questions about accessibility, call the Arts & Culture team at 519-555-0100.

This event is free to attend. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and help us create something special for Wrenford.
