Join us every Thursday morning for the Memory Lane Book Club: Spring Reads. This relaxed discussion group is designed for seniors who love sharing stories and swapping book recommendations. Whether you prefer a cozy mystery, a historical novel, or a memoir, you will find a welcoming circle of readers here.
Our first meeting of the season takes place on March 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wrenford Public Library — Ambrel Lake Branch. You do not need to register to attend. Just walk in, find a comfortable seat, and bring the book you are currently reading or a title you would like to suggest for next month. We provide coffee, tea, and light refreshments. If you would rather listen in and hear what others are enjoying, you are still welcome. The conversation moves at a friendly pace, and no one is ever put on the spot.
The branch is fully accessible, with step-free entry, wide aisles, and accessible washrooms nearby. If you need a seat closer to the front or have specific mobility needs, just let the librarian know when you arrive.
This monthly gathering is part of the City's programming for Seniors. It is a great way to meet neighbours, stay sharp, and discover your next great read. Bring a friend or come on your own. We look forward to seeing you in March.
