Bring your curiosity to the March Break Day Camp: Junior Engineers, a hands-on program designed for children ages 6 to 10. Over the course of the day, young builders will explore basic engineering principles through fun, interactive challenges. Participants will design structures, test simple machines, and work in teams to solve real-world problems using everyday materials.
The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2027, at the clubhouse of Larch Heights Golf Course (2100 Wrenford Line). A light lunch and two snacks are included in the registration fee. Please send your child with a reusable water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, and a packed lunch. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Registration is required and costs $45.00 for the full-day series. Secure your spot through the Recreation & Culture portal or by calling the Wrenford 311 service line at 311. Spaces are limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
The venue is fully accessible, with step-free entry to the clubhouse and accessible washrooms available on the main floor. If you require additional accommodations to participate, please contact the Accessibility team at [email protected] at least five business days before the event.
We look forward to seeing our future engineers at work!
