Explore the rich history of Wrenford's waterways on a guided walk along the Tamsin River. You will learn how the river shaped our city's growth, from the early grist mill at the falls to the modern trail network that connects our neighbourhoods today. This event is led by staff from the Wrenford Public Library in partnership with the City's Heritage & Archives team.
The walk is designed for adults and covers approximately 3 kilometres on packed gravel and dirt paths. Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather, as spring conditions can change quickly. Rest stops will be available along the route. If you need a different pace or a longer break, please tell the guide when you arrive.
Registration is required so we can plan for supplies and group size. You can sign up at the main library desk, call 519-555-0130, or register online through the library portal. Spaces are limited to 20 participants.
We meet at the Fallsview Riverside Shelter. Look for the blue library banner near the entrance. If you have questions before the event, email [email protected] or visit the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch for more details on programs.
