A winter light festival along a riverbank at night: trees wrapped in warm lights, illuminated arches over a path, the falls lit in soft colour, families walking

Lights at the Falls 2026 returns this November. The city's favourite holiday light display covers Fallsview Road and the overlook below the Tamsin River. You can walk the route any evening after 5:00 p.m. from November 27 through December 31. The Fallsview Arts Centre serves as the main hub. Inside, you will find volunteer registration, refreshments, and a craft market from local makers.

The display is free to everyone. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate and bundle up, as the paths along the river can be chilly and icy. The City's winter maintenance crews clear the main walkways daily, but you should watch your step. Strollers and wheelchairs can use the paved section near the Arts Centre.

Volunteers are needed to help with the evening opening on November 27 and to man the refreshment tables throughout December. If you want to help, sign up at the Arts Centre or visit our event calendar. Local businesses and residents can apply to host a light fixture along Fallsview Road. Applications open in early December and are reviewed by the Downtown Wrenford BIA.

We hope you enjoy the glow of the season with your neighbours.
