Get ready to bring your garden to life this spring! Join us at the Benchlands Basketball Courts for a practical workshop on the basics of home gardening. Whether you have a small backyard or just a sunny windowsill, you will learn exactly how to get started. Our expert guide will walk you through preparing healthy soil, picking the best seeds for Ontario, and watering your plants on a schedule that works. You will also get tips on dealing with local pests without using harsh chemicals.

This free workshop is designed for adults of all skill levels. No prior experience is needed. We will cover everything from planning your first bed to understanding the local growing season. Please register in advance because space is limited. You can sign up online or call the Wrenford Public Library. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has washrooms nearby. Bring a notebook to jot down tips, your own gardening gloves, and a reusable water bottle. We will supply all the tools, seeds, and starter plants you need. We look forward to seeing you there as we get ready for planting season!
