Join us for the Library Workshop: Holiday Baking Basics on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Northgate Splash Pad. This free session is designed for adults who want to learn or refresh their skills in holiday baking. You will get step-by-step guidance on making festive cookies, breads, and simple pastries perfect for the season.

You do not need to bring any special equipment. All ingredients, mixing bowls, and baking tools will be provided. Just bring your apron, a notebook for recipes, and your enthusiasm. Space is limited, so registration is required. You can sign up online through the City’s recreation portal or call 519-555-0100 to reserve your spot.

The venue is fully accessible, with an entrance on the south side that accommodates wheelchairs and mobility aids. Washrooms are located inside the building. If you need an accessible seating arrangement or assistive listening devices, please mention this when you register.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned baker, you will leave with a collection of tried-and-true recipes and plenty of ideas for holiday gifting. We look forward to seeing you there.
