November 18, 2026, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Join us at the Copper Ridge Youth Centre to see how 3D printers build objects layer by layer. This free workshop is made for teens who want to try designing their own items. You do not need any prior experience or a personal computer. The centre provides all the design software and printers we will use. We will walk through the basics of 3D modelling, show you how to get a file ready for printing, and let you choose a small item to take home. Space is limited, so you must register in advance to save your spot. You can sign up through the City's online registration portal or call the youth centre directly.

The Copper Ridge Youth Centre features a computer lab, game room, and study areas, plus a wheelchair-accessible entrance and washrooms on site. Please arrive ten minutes early to check in. If you need an accommodation to participate fully, contact the accessibility coordinator at least five business days before the event. This program is free and open to all teens.
