Join us for Library Storytime: Tinsel Tales, a festive gathering designed for toddlers and their caregivers. On Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., we will gather at Tamarack South Park for a morning of holiday stories, seasonal songs, and gentle movement activities.

This event is completely free and open to the public. No registration is required. Families can simply arrive at the park at or after 10:30 a.m. and join the circle. We recommend dressing your little ones in warm winter clothing, as the event takes place outdoors. A covered shelter area is available if weather conditions change.

During the session, caregivers and children will enjoy interactive reading of holiday picture books, fingerplays, and a short craft activity using recycled materials. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay, chat with other families, and help their children participate at their own pace. Strollers are welcome, but please keep them at the edge of the reading circle so everyone has space.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with paved pathways leading to the gathering area. Accessible washrooms are located nearby. If you require any accommodations or have questions about the event, please contact the Recreation & Culture department at 519-555-0100 or visit our Contact page for more information.

We look forward to seeing you for a cozy, festive morning of stories and holiday cheer.
