Come outside and enjoy the spring air with a group of toddlers and their caregivers. We will gather at Tamarack South Park for a morning of gentle stories, songs, and simple rhymes designed for little ones. This free program is a relaxed way to spend a Wednesday morning.
No registration is required. You can just show up with your child and settle in on a picnic blanket or small folding chair. We will read books about blooming flowers, waking animals, and sunny days. Our librarians will lead interactive songs and finger plays that are perfect for developing motor skills.
The park has flat, paved paths that work well for strollers and wheelchairs. There are washrooms nearby, though they may be closed during the cooler spring mornings. Please bring a light jacket, as March weather in Wrenford can change quickly. If heavy rain or high winds are forecasted, we will move the session to the Tamarack Community Hall indoors. Check the Service Alerts page on the morning of the event if you are unsure.
This event is part of our ongoing commitment to early childhood development and community connection. Caregivers are welcome to stay after the storytime to chat with other families and share tips. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle and a small snack for after the reading.
We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate the arrival of spring together.
