Join us for Library Storytime: Spring Awakening Tales, a free morning of stories, songs, and movement for toddlers and their caregivers. We will gather at the Old Mill Bandshell on the morning of April 6, 2027, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. to celebrate the changing season.

During the session, children will listen to interactive tales about blooming gardens, waking animals, and the first warm days of spring. Caregivers are welcome to sit, listen, and help their little ones join in the fun. We encourage you to bring a small cushion or blanket to sit on, as seating on the grass is available.

This event is designed for toddlers and their caregivers. No registration is required; just show up when you are ready. The bandshell is fully accessible, with paved pathways leading to the performance area. If you need a specific accommodation to participate fully, please contact us ahead of time so we can make arrangements.

Weather can be unpredictable in early spring, so we recommend dressing in layers. If severe weather is forecasted, the event will move indoors to the Old Mill Museum & Archives, and updates will be posted on our event calendar.

Come enjoy a quiet morning of community and storytelling as the city wakes up from winter. We look forward to seeing you there!
