Join us at the Benchlands Basketball Courts for Library Storytime: Spring Awakening, a free morning of songs, stories, and simple crafts built for toddlers and their caregivers. We will celebrate the changing season with interactive reading, movement breaks, and a hands-on activity that little hands can enjoy.
No registration is required. You can simply arrive at 10:30 a.m. on March 17, 2027, and stay until 11:15 a.m. Since the courts are an outdoor venue, please dress your little ones in layers and bring a small blanket to sit on. Early March in Wrenford can still be chilly, so warm hats and gloves are a good idea.
The program is designed for children aged one to four who are just beginning to explore the world around them. Caregivers should stay with their child throughout the session. We will keep the group small so every toddler gets a chance to participate in the songs and the craft.
Washrooms are available nearby at the Benchlands Community Hub. If you need to store coats or strollers, we recommend bringing a small bag for essentials. The courts have flat, paved surfaces that work well for strollers and wheelchairs.
This free event is part of our ongoing Recreation & Sport calendar. For more information on seasonal programs, visit our Programs page. If you have questions about accessibility or need accommodations to participate, please contact our Events Coordinator, Rosa Castellano, at [email protected] or call 519-555-0100.
We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones to a bright morning of spring stories and community connection.
