Join us for a fun and interactive morning at the Northgate Aquatic Centre designed for toddlers and their caregivers. On February 7, 2027, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., we will explore the wonder of winter through stories and simple science.
During this free drop-in session, your little ones will enjoy reading time with books about snow, ice, and winter animals. We will also try some hands-on science activities. You might make your own fake snow using household ingredients or learn why ice is slippery. These activities are safe and fun for young children.
The Northgate Aquatic Centre is located at 910 Northgate Boulevard. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible. If you need to reach the venue, call 519-555-0121. The centre is open on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., so you can arrive early to find parking.
No registration is required for this event. Just show up at the scheduled time. We welcome families from all neighbourhoods in Wrenford. This is a great chance to meet other parents and toddlers while learning about the science of winter.
If you have any questions about accessibility or accommodations, please contact us ahead of time. We want every child to feel welcome and included. Bring a water bottle and a towel for your child. Snacks are allowed, but please check with staff about any allergies in the group.
We look forward to seeing you for a morning of learning and play. This event is part of our series of family-friendly programs in the Recreation & Culture department. You can find more events on our calendar.
