Looking for a gentle way to spend the morning? Join librarians from Library at Ashgrove Hollow Park for Library Story Time: April Showers on April 15, 2027. This session is designed for toddlers and their caregivers, and it will focus on spring weather, rain clouds, and how plants grow after the rain.
What to expect:
- Interactive stories and rhymes about April weather
- Simple songs and movement breaks
- A short craft activity using recycled paper
Registration is required so we can plan for enough space and materials. Sign up online or call the library at 519-555-0130. The event is free, but you must register to attend. Please bring a small mat or blanket to sit on, as park benches may be limited. Strollers are welcome, and the park paths are flat and stroller-friendly.
If you need an accommodation or have accessibility questions, contact the library's programming team at least three days before the event. We will do our best to meet your needs. Rain or shine, the event takes place in the park. If severe weather is forecast, we will move it to the Ashgrove Community Centre and send an email to all registered attendees.
