Come gather with fellow readers for an evening of conversation and community. The Wrenford Public Library invites adults to join our new winter book club on December 16, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Market Square Outdoor Rink. This free event needs no registration, so you can simply show up and enjoy the evening.

We will be discussing a selection of recent Canadian winter-themed novels and short stories. Whether you prefer cozy mysteries, literary fiction, or non-fiction essays, there is something for everyone. Bring your current read, or just come ready to listen and share your thoughts. Light refreshments will be provided.

The rink area is accessible, and washrooms are located at the nearby Riverside Flats Community Hall. We recommend bringing a folding chair or a blanket to sit on, along with warm layers, as December evenings can be chilly. If you have mobility needs or require specific accommodations, please let our staff know when you arrive, and we will do our best to assist you.

This event is part of our Arts & Culture programming, designed to bring the community together through shared stories. You do not need to purchase anything to attend, and you are welcome to stay for the full hour or drop in for a shorter visit. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your favourite book recommendations.
