Bring your best strategies and compete in the Junior Chess Club Tournament, designed for children and teens in Wrenford. This friendly competition takes place at the Benchlands Curling Club (430 Benchlands Drive, Wrenford, ON N4Q 2A6) on September 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Whether you are a beginner learning the rules or a seasoned player looking to test your skills, everyone is welcome to participate.
Registration is required so we can prepare enough boards and pieces for all players. Please sign up online or call 519-555-0100 to secure your spot. The entry fee is $5 per person, which covers the use of all equipment and a light snack after the games. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch from the sidelines.
The venue is fully accessible, with an accessible entrance and washrooms on site. We ask that all participants bring their own chess clock if they have one, though we will have extras available. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and receive your tournament bracket.
