Help us turn pages into community gifts. The annual Holiday Book Sale is one of the most popular fundraising events for the Wrenford Public Library Board, and we need your help to keep it running smoothly. This volunteer orientation will show you exactly what to expect on sale day and how you can contribute.
We will meet in the main reading room at the Main Branch. Our volunteer coordinator, Tara Sandhu, and the library team will walk you through the sorting process, shelving guidelines, and customer service basics. You will learn how to price books, handle donations, and manage the checkout line. We will also hand out volunteer packets with shift schedules and wristbands so you are ready to go.
No experience is necessary. We welcome residents of all ages and backgrounds who enjoy reading, sorting, or simply lending a hand. If you have a disability or need an accommodation to participate, please tell us when you register. The Main Branch has an accessible entrance on Water Street and elevator access to all public areas.
Registration is required so we can prepare enough materials and seating. Spaces fill up quickly, so sign up early. Bring a friend if you would like to volunteer together, but please register each person separately.
We thank you for giving your time to support literacy and community reading in Wrenford. We look forward to seeing you there.
