Harvest on Mercer 2026 brings the community together to celebrate the fall season right in the heart of downtown. Join us on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Wrenford City Hall and along the closed stretch of Mercer Street. The street will be closed to traffic between Water Street and Church Street, giving everyone a safe place to walk, play, and enjoy the day.
This free event is for residents of all ages. You will find local food vendors serving seasonal treats, live music from area performers, and hands-on activities for children. Community groups and local artisans will have booths to share their work. Come browse the stalls, chat with your neighbours, and enjoy the crisp autumn air.
You do not need to register to attend. Just show up and enjoy the festivities. If you have a large group or need a wheelchair-accessible spot near the main stage, let our volunteer staff know when you arrive. The accessible entrance on Water Street provides easy access to City Hall and the main festival area. Public washrooms are available inside City Hall and near the activity zone.
Mercer Street is flat and well-maintained for strollers and wheelchairs. If you need parking, use the Downtown Transit Terminal area or street parking on nearby arterials. Wrenford Transit runs its regular routes along Mercer Street, and the downtown terminal is open during event hours.
Harvest on Mercer 2026 is a great way to support local businesses and connect with your Neighbourhoods. Bring a reusable cup for your drink, pack a light jacket for the afternoon, and come ready to enjoy a day of food, music, and community spirit.
