Join us for a Guided Winter Nature Walk at Copper Ridge Lookout on Friday, January 29, 2027, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This free event is designed for all ages and requires moderate fitness. Our lead naturalist will guide you through the local trails to spot winter wildlife tracks, bird signs, and dormant native plants.
Because the trails can be snowy or icy, please dress in warm layers and bring waterproof boots. Binoculars are welcome if you have them, and we will provide hot cocoa and tea at the start. Registration is required because space is limited. You can register online through the Event Calendar or by calling Wrenford 311 at 311 inside city limits.
The route covers about three kilometres of packed gravel and dirt. While the main trail is not fully wheelchair accessible, strollers are welcome on the adjacent paved connector path. If you have mobility concerns, contact us ahead of time so we can suggest the best starting point.
We will meet at the Copper Ridge Lookout parking lot. The walk will be cancelled only in the event of severe weather or road closures. Check the Service Alerts page for updates.
