Join Wrenford Parks & Trails staff for a family-friendly walk through Ambrel Lake Park. You will learn how to identify animal tracks in the snow, from deer and foxes to smaller woodland creatures. This walk is a great way to get outside and enjoy the winter landscape while discovering the wildlife that shares our neighbourhood.

The walk covers about two kilometres on packed trails and boardwalks. Please dress warmly in layers, wear waterproof boots, and bring gloves. A water bottle is recommended. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration is required so we can plan for the group size. Register online or call 519-555-0100.

The meeting point is the main parking lot at Ambrel Lake Park. The park is located at 1350 Ambrel Lake Road. During the overnight winter parking ban (December 1 to March 31, 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.), please park in the park lot or on the street.

This program is part of our Parks & Trails and Programs calendar. For more family activities, visit Recreation & Culture.
