Join us for a relaxed, family-friendly walk along the paved Hollis Creek Greenway. You will explore the changing colours of late summer and early fall while learning about the fascinating fungi and hardy plants that thrive along our waterway. A trained naturalist will guide you through the trail, pointing out mushrooms, mosses, and late-blooming wildflowers that are often overlooked.

This walk is designed for all ages and abilities. The path is fully paved and flat, making it easy for strollers and wheelchairs. You can walk at your own pace, stop to take photos, or simply enjoy the fresh air. Children are welcome to bring a small notebook or magnifying glass if they wish, but it is not required.

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate footwear and dress in layers. We will walk for about an hour and a half, so bring water and a light jacket if the wind picks up. The walk will take place rain or shine, but we will cancel if there is severe weather or unsafe trail conditions. Check the service alerts page for any last-minute changes.

There is no registration required. Simply meet us at the main trailhead at 155 Hollis Park Drive. If you have questions about accessibility or need assistance, contact our recreation team at 519-555-0100. We look forward to seeing you outdoors!
