Join us for a Guided Nature Walk at Centennial Gardens on Sunday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This family-friendly walk explores the formal gardens and cenotaph area near City Hall. A city naturalist will point out autumn blooms, late-season pollinators, and the history behind the garden's design.

You can bring the whole family. Strollers and wheelchairs can use the main paved paths, though some garden beds have gravel sections. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a water bottle. If you have binoculars or a camera, feel free to bring them.

Space is limited, so please register in advance. You can sign up online or call City Services at 519-555-0100. Walk-ups are welcome if spots remain. The walk meets at the main entrance on Victoria Street, right next to the cenotaph.

This event is part of our Family & Kids programming. No prior gardening experience is needed. Just come ready to explore the green spaces that make our downtown special. We will wrap up near the main lawn with a quick look at fall planting plans for next year.

Check the weather before you head out. If it rains, the walk moves indoors to the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch on Mercer Street, or we will cancel. You will get a text message with the final decision by 7:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

All ages are welcome. Families with young children are especially encouraged to attend. Please keep pets on a short leash or leave them at home to protect the garden beds. We look forward to seeing you there!
