Part of the City's Arts & Culture programming, this free guided nature walk explores the spring migration along the Tamsin River corridor. Designed for adults and seniors, the event combines birdwatching with local ecology and outdoor photography.
Join a Parks Planner for a relaxed two-hour walk along the creek. You will learn how to identify common spring migrants, understand why these birds travel through Southwestern Ontario, and discover quiet spots for observation and sketching. We will also share simple tips for capturing bird photos with your phone or camera.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Binoculars are welcome but not required, and the group will move at a steady, easy pace. Bring a reusable water bottle and a small snack. The route follows a flat, packed-gravel path that is suitable for most mobility levels.
Registration is required so we can plan the group size. Sign up online or call 519-555-0100. If you need an accommodation to participate, please let us know when you register. We will meet at the Southview Corvid Creek Launch parking area. Please arrive ten minutes early for a quick briefing.
