Join us for a guided nature walk along the trails of Corvid Creek Off-Leash Area on Saturday, October 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This free family-friendly event is designed for families and nature enthusiasts who want to explore the changing seasons and spot local wildlife. Our experienced park staff will lead you through the wooded paths, pointing out birds, mammals, and insects that make their home in the creek valley during autumn.
During the walk, you will learn how animals prepare for the colder months, what signs to look for in the underbrush, and why protecting these natural spaces matters for Wrenford. The trail covers approximately two kilometres at a relaxed pace, making it suitable for children and adults who enjoy a gentle hike.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, comfortable footwear. Bring a reusable water bottle, and consider packing a pair of binoculars if you have them. The walk is free, but registration is required so we can plan for the group size. Register online through the Recreation & Culture section before the event begins.
The route includes some natural, uneven terrain and mild slopes. If you need a fully accessible route or have mobility considerations, please let us know when you register so we can adjust the path and pace to suit your needs.
