Join us for the First Night Winter Art Walk on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Market Square Outdoor Rink in downtown Wrenford. This free, family-friendly event brings the community together to celebrate local creativity as we kick off the holiday season.
Walk through a series of interactive art installations and exhibition spaces set up across the rink's surface and surrounding plaza. You will find works from local painters, sculptors, photographers, and crafters, along with live acoustic performances from regional musicians. There will also be a hot chocolate station and a craft corner for kids to try their hand at making simple winter-themed art projects.
Because the event takes place at the rink, the area is equipped with floodlights for safe walking after dark. Public washrooms are located nearby in City Hall and the Downtown Transit Terminal. The paved surface is flat, making it accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, though we recommend wearing warm, waterproof footwear for the winter weather.
You do not need to register to attend. The event is free and open to all ages. Drop in anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to explore the exhibits, chat with the artists, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. If you have questions, you can reach the Events Coordinator, Rosa Castellano, at 519-555-0100 or [email protected].
