Get your mitts ready for the Family Day Weekend Ice Sculpture Workshop! Join us at Stonebridge Park Rink on Saturday, February 13, 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to create your own winter masterpiece. This free program is designed for families with children and is a perfect way to celebrate the long weekend outdoors.
Registration is required. Space is limited, so sign up early through the Wrenford 311 service line at 519-555-0100 or online at the Recreation & Culture page. When you arrive, check in at the rink office. All carving tools, safety gear, and ice blocks will be provided. Dress warmly in layers, and bring waterproof gloves if you have them. Sturdy boots are recommended for the rink surface.
The rink offers public washrooms and a heated shelter for warming up between carving sessions. The workshop is fully accessible, and staff are available to assist participants with mobility aids. Please note that this event is weather dependent. If conditions are unsafe, we will contact registered families by phone and email.
Bring your family and friends for a morning of creativity and winter fun. We can't wait to see what you build!
