Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Market Square Picnic Shelter for the kickoff of our Fall Reading Challenge. This free event is for toddlers and caregivers who want to build a love of reading together.

We will share autumn-themed stories, sing simple songs, and try a quick paper-craft activity. You will receive a reading log to track your child’s progress through the season. The challenge runs until the end of November, and participants can earn a small prize when they return pages.

You do not need to register in advance. Just arrive by 10:20 a.m. to find a spot. Strollers and wheelchairs can park right near the shelter. The paved area is fully accessible, and we keep the group small for children with sensory needs. Ask our staff if you need an interpreter or have other accessibility requests.

Bring a blanket or folding chair if you prefer, and dress for the weather. We have a few spares, but space fills quickly. Washrooms and water fountains are nearby on Market Square.

This event is part of the City’s fall programming, brought to you with support from the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch. For more story times and reading programs, check out Library Story Time: Autumn Adventures.
