Join us for Digital Literacy: Secure Passwords, a hands-on workshop designed to help you keep your personal information safe online. As we rely more on the internet for banking, health records, and staying in touch with family, strong passwords are your first line of defence.
In this session, you will learn how to create passwords that are easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. We will also cover how to use password manager apps on your phone or computer to keep track of them all. You will get practical tips on spotting phishing emails and avoiding scams that try to steal your login details.
This class is free and specifically tailored for seniors. Our friendly library staff will guide you step-by-step through the process. Bring your own device if you have one, or use a library computer. If you need help setting up a password manager, we can walk you through it during the workshop.
