Take a break from the winter chill and join your neighbours at Crafting for Comfort: Knitting Circle. This free, drop-in event is for adults who love to knit, crochet, or just want to learn in a friendly group. We meet on Friday, December 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Wrenford Public Library — Ambrel Lake Branch.
You can bring your own yarn, needles, and current projects. If you do not have supplies, the library has a small collection of knitting needles and yarn you can use. No experience is needed. Staff and volunteer knitters are happy to share tips or help you get started.
Hot drinks and snacks will be provided, so you can relax and chat while you craft. The event is held in the community room on the main floor, which is fully wheelchair accessible. Accessible washrooms are located nearby.
You do not need to register to attend. Just show up during the event hours. If you have questions about the space or need help getting there, call the library at 519-555-0132.
