Join us for the Community Holiday Gift Wrap and Share, a free event where neighbours help neighbours get ready for the holidays. Bring new, unwrapped gifts, wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbons and bows to drop off. Our volunteers will sort everything by age group and type so we can match donations with local families in need. This event is open to all residents and does not require registration.
You can bring items in your own bags or carts. We will have tables set up for sorting, so just drop them off and say hello. If you are looking for a special item to give, you will also find a selection of wrapped gifts ready to take home.
The event takes place at Northgate Park. The park has paved walking paths and is fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. An accessible washroom is located nearby. If the weather turns cold or rainy, we will move the sorting tables to the covered pavilion just east of the main field.
Come by to help pack, chat with your neighbours and spread a little holiday cheer. We will have hot chocolate and cookies available while you help out. Bring a friend or bring the whole family. No experience is needed—just a willingness to share.
