Get your garden ready for the colder months at our Community Garden Winter Prep Workshop. Held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Stonebridge Park, this free session is designed for gardeners who want to protect their plots through winter.

You will learn how to clean up garden beds, cover the soil to keep nutrients in, and properly store tools and equipment. We will also talk about planning your planting schedule for next year. Bring your garden gloves and a notebook to write down tips. If you have your own hand tools, feel free to bring them too.

This workshop is a great chance to meet other local gardeners and share tips. The City provides all materials for the soil covering demonstration. If you have questions about overwintering vegetables or perennials, our parks staff will be happy to answer them. The park is accessible via paved paths. If you need any accommodations to attend, please let us know when you register. Space is limited, so please sign up online before the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
