Get ready for the spring concert season! This free rehearsal is for community choir members who want to prepare their voices for the upcoming performances. You do not need to register to attend. Just show up on the night of the event.
At 7:00 p.m., the choir director will welcome everyone and start with vocal warm-ups and breathing exercises. You will spend the rest of the evening learning new pieces and polishing your existing songs. Bring your sheet music, a water bottle, and comfortable shoes. We recommend wearing layers, as the arena can get chilly in January.
No professional singing experience is required. We welcome singers of all levels who enjoy making music together. If you have any questions about the repertoire or need help finding your part, the choir leaders will be happy to assist you during the break.
Westbrook Community Arena is fully accessible. There is free parking on site, and the entrance is step-free. If you need any special accommodations to participate, please contact us ahead of time so we can make arrangements.
We look forward to seeing you there as we prepare for a bright and musical spring season!
