Bring your family and neighbours for a free evening of holiday music in the heart of downtown. Local community choirs will gather at the Market Square Outdoor Rink to share seasonal favourites and festive tunes. The performance runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on December 22, 2026.
Dress warmly and bring a folding chair or a blanket. The outdoor rink will be lit by floodlights, and washrooms are located just steps away at the Downtown Transit Terminal. Whether you are a singer, a listener, or just looking for a reason to get out on a winter evening, everyone is welcome.
This event is part of our Arts & Heritage programming, which brings live performance to neighbourhoods across the city. No registration is required, and there is no cover charge. If the weather turns too harsh for an outdoor gathering, please check the Service Alerts page for any last-minute changes or cancellations.
After the performance, you can stroll along the nearby Tamsin River Trail System or stop for a hot drink at a local café. We look forward to singing the season in with you.
