Community Book Sale Setup

This past event took place on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ambrel Lake Community Hall. Volunteers helped sort donated books, set up display tables, and hang sale signage. You could bring your own sturdy gloves, but the library provided plenty of extras. Light snacks and water were available for all helpers. The event was held indoors, so weather did not affect the setup. Staff checked everyone in at the main entrance and handed out name tags. No experience was necessary—just a willingness to lift light boxes and follow simple instructions. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with an accessible entrance and washrooms available on site.
