The City Council Candidate Forum is an opportunity for residents to hear directly from the people hoping to represent them on council. This session will cover all six wards, giving you a chance to ask questions and learn about each candidate’s priorities for Wrenford.

The event takes place at the Ambrel Lake Community Centre. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for registration and refreshments. The forum begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend, and you do not need to register in advance. Just show up and bring your questions.

Each candidate will have a few minutes to introduce themselves and share their vision for the city. After that, the floor opens for resident questions. We encourage you to think about the issues that matter most to your neighbourhood, from transit and parks to property taxes and housing.

The forum is held in a single-level building with accessible entrances and washrooms. If you need an accommodation or have a question about accessibility, contact the Events Coordinator at Rosa Castellano or call 519-555-0100.

Bring a friend, a neighbour, or your whole street. This is a great way to learn more about your local government and make your voice heard before the October 26 municipal election. We will also have information tables from local community groups and a copy of the official ballot available.

After the forum, candidates and residents can stay for informal conversation over coffee. Check the event calendar for updates, and visit Elections for voter information and polling day details.
