Join us on November 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a clear, jargon-free look at how the City budgets its money. This session is designed to help seniors and all residents understand where tax dollars go and how the City plans for next year. Staff from the Finance and City Services departments will walk you through the budget process, explain key terms, and show how your input shapes the final numbers.

You will learn how the City prioritizes services like garbage collection, road maintenance, and public safety. We will cover how the budget is built, what the Council reviews, and how you can get involved. Bring your questions. We want to hear what matters most to you and your neighbourhood.

This event is free and open to everyone. No registration is required. Just drop in and take a seat. The Wrenford Public Library — Northgate Branch is fully accessible. The building has a wheelchair accessible entrance, washrooms on site, and a quiet room nearby if you need a break. Free parking is available in the library lot.

If you need help navigating the website to find more information, our Digital Literacy volunteers are available at the library on event days. We are here to help you make sense of municipal finances without the stress.
